Steve Carter Tutoring Program
For Families
The Steve Carter Tutoring Program provides $1,500 tutoring vouchers per school year for eligible K–12 public school students. Vouchers may be used for high quality literacy and math tutoring with approved providers.
Who is eligible
K–12 public school students
Students performing below proficiency in reading or mathematics
How the program works
Families select an approved tutoring provider through the parent portal
Tutoring sessions must take place after school hours
Sessions may be in person or virtual
No more than 4 students per session
What families should do
Sabine Parish Schools will be sending information home directly to families of students who qualify. Please be on the lookout for details and next steps.
