The district proudly announces that all three Sabine Parish Students of the Year have been
named 2026 Student of the Year Regional Honorees by the Louisiana Department of Education
(LDOE). This prestigious recognition honors students who demonstrate excellence in academic
achievement, leadership, citizenship, and service to their schools and communities.
Sabine Parish’s 2026 Student of the Year Regional Honorees are:
5th grade: Audrey Faust, Many Junior High School
8th grade: Vivian Campbell, Many Junior High School
12th grade: Allie Tarver, Florien High School
The LDOE’s Student of the Year program recognizes outstanding students in grades 5, 8, and 12
from across the state. Being named a Regional Honoree places these students among the top
performers in their BESE region and advances them to the next phase of the statewide
competition. One student per BESE region will be named a state finalist, with finalists being
announced later in the school year.
Congratulations to each of these exceptional students on their dedication, hard work, and
outstanding accomplishments that led to this well-deserved honor.
