Our school board members generously invest their time and effort to nurture the growth and success of our schools. Their selfless dedication enhances the well-being of our entire community. In heartfelt gratitude, we extend a sincere thank you to our board members during School Board Recognition Month.
After consulting with our local law enforcement and Homeland Security, all SPSB schools and offices will remain closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, out of an abundance of caution for the possibility of icy road conditions in the morning. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.
Schools and offices will resume regular operation on Thursday, January 18, 2024. We will continue to update families as conditions change.

After consulting with Homeland Security and the National Weather Service, all SPSB schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to expected winter weather conditions. As always, our students and employees' safety and well-being are our priority. We will be working closely with our local and regional officials to monitor this weather situation regarding the possibility of a closure on Wednesday.

Completing an application for the contest is no easy task, and we commend these students for the work they have put into putting their applications together and the years of academic excellence they have accomplished!
Sierra Arceneaux and Ellie Danos were named the semi-finalists for NHS. A winner will be announced later next week. The Student of the Year for Negreet will go on to compete at the district level as a representative for our school.
