We are off to a great start at Pleasant Hill High School. Teachers and students have already started their new curriculum and engaging in new

learning. We are excited to see what this year brings for the wonderful faculty/staff and students at PHHS. We do want to remind you of a few things at PHHS.

(1). Drop off time for students is 7:15 AM to 7:45 AM. If students would like to eat breakfast, please have them in the cafeteria by 7:40 AM.

(2). Pleasant Hill has a no cell phone policy due to the new state law. Students that have phones on them must have them powered off and

stowed away out of sight. All students in grades 6-12 were given a locker. They may store their cell phones in their locker.

(3). Students driving and parking on campus must have a valid drivers license as well as proof of insurance, registration, and a $5.00 fee. These items must be brought to the school and turned in to Ms. Karmon in the office for a copy to be kept on file.

(4). Please remember that the loading zone in the mornings and afternoons are a no passing zone. Passing a bus or car will result in a citation

from the Pleasant Hill Police Department or Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office.

(S). Please make sure everyone is properly restrained in seat belts before entering and exiting the campus. Law enforcement will be checking

this daily. If needed, you may use the high school parking lot to get your children in their seat belt after picking your child up in the car pick up line.

(6). Please make sure to put names in jackets, sweaters, clothing, etc. This will assist staff in returning lost items to the correct person.

(7). Please remember that PHHS has a NO FIGHTING policy on campus. Any students in grades 6-12 that engage in this activity will be taken to Pleasant Hill City Hall where citations will be issued.

(8). Any student or students who are caught to be in possession of a vape, vape products, or using a vape/vaping products on school property or school sponsored events will be issued a citation by law enforcement and will be suspended.

We appreciate your help on these matters. Pleasant Hill High School is a great school! We are looking forward to a successful year in academics and athletics.
