On Tuesday, October 18, Sabine Parish’s Project Lead the Way Engineering students welcomed Adam Jannik, Associate Professor of Engineering Technology at Northwestern State University, Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Professor of Engineering Technology, and Alyssa Austin, Central Louisiana Recruiter to their Principles of Engineering classes. The NSU guest speakers shared information about the variety of Associates and Bachelors Degrees available in the Engineering Technology department, career opportunities for those degree paths, and admissions and scholarships available to Sabine Parish students. NSU accepts some PLTW courses as college credit with qualifying end-of-course test scores.
