LDOE Launches Steve Carter Literacy Tutoring Program

On Saturday, Converse students attended the Northwest Louisiana High School Rally at Northwestern State University. Twenty Wildcats qualified for the state literary rally. Twelve of them were division medal winners. WAY TO GO WILDCATS!!

SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION MONTH

There will be an Indian Parent Meeting on Monday February 6 at 1:00pm in the Zwolle High School Library. This is a public meeting, all interested in the education of our Native American students are invited to attend.

Mark your calendars! CHS Homecoming Kick-Off Bonfire will be Monday, January 30th.

CHS junior athletes received their athletic jackets today to kick off Converse's Christmas Program. Another milestone reached for these students!

Converse High School will hold our annual Veterans Day Program at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022. We would like to invite all Veterans to attend.

CHS will take Thanksgiving Lunch reservations just one more day. They must be turned in by 3:00 pm Monday. If you don't have a form, please send in a piece of paper with the student's name and the number of people attending. Thank you!

Coach Carrier wants to give a Shout-Out to these awesome CHS 2nd grade students for taking it upon themselves to clean up CHS. Baylor Tarpley, Matthew Simpson, Huxley Parrie, Kaeson Hunter and Elvy Burris were “caught” picking up trash on the playground! That’s some good citizenship, Wildcats!

CHS Cross Country participated in the Regional Meet at LA Tech's Home Course Lincoln Parish Park yesterday.
Our girls come away as Region 1 Division 4 Runner Up, with Abigail Bozeman placing 2nd, and being named All-Region along with teammates, Zoey Rayborn, Anna Averitt, Preslye Rivers, and Irene Dobbs. Also running were Kayli Morgan and Graci Garcie.
Our boys come away with 4th place in Region 1 Division 4. Named All Region were Logan Carter, Auldyn Sepulvado, and JW Rhodes. Also running were Jacob Fager, Clayton Rivers, Dylan Ebarb, and Chezney Reed.
Both teams qualified for the State Championship Cross Country meet on November 14th in Natchitoches.
Way to go Wildcats!
