Coach Carrier wants to give a Shout-Out to these awesome CHS 2nd grade students for taking it upon themselves to clean up CHS. Baylor Tarpley, Matthew Simpson, Huxley Parrie, Kaeson Hunter and Elvy Burris were “caught” picking up trash on the playground! That’s some good citizenship, Wildcats!

CHS Cross Country participated in the Regional Meet at LA Tech's Home Course Lincoln Parish Park yesterday.
Our girls come away as Region 1 Division 4 Runner Up, with Abigail Bozeman placing 2nd, and being named All-Region along with teammates, Zoey Rayborn, Anna Averitt, Preslye Rivers, and Irene Dobbs. Also running were Kayli Morgan and Graci Garcie.
Our boys come away with 4th place in Region 1 Division 4. Named All Region were Logan Carter, Auldyn Sepulvado, and JW Rhodes. Also running were Jacob Fager, Clayton Rivers, Dylan Ebarb, and Chezney Reed.
Both teams qualified for the State Championship Cross Country meet on November 14th in Natchitoches.
Way to go Wildcats!

Some of our CHS faculty and staff were too cute and having some fun for Book Character Day at Converse High School yesterday!

Yesterday was the first day our Educators Rising students went into classrooms for observations. Our future educators have been learning about how teachers create an equitable classroom culture. This week their focus was on honoring student experience. Thank you to our CHS teachers for being so gracious and hosting our students! 🍎⬆️

Tonight, CHS is hosting 4 games for the 4-B Jamboree and 4 Jr. High Baseball games. Buses will need to park in front of the school so that teams will go through the building to the gym. Parking will be chaotic. Please be mindful when parking and do not to block anyone in or block driveways. You may park behind the tennis court. You may also park at the Dixie Youth Fields, where we will have golf carts in operation to shuttle visitors to the gym. Thank you for your cooperation and support!

Come watch some Sabine Parish basketball and wear Pink!

Converse High School Educators Rising students had the honor of visiting with Torey Hayward and Nicole Bono from the Louisiana Department of Education. They both work in the Teacher Development department for the LDOE. Students enjoyed asking them questions and learning more about careers in education. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat!

We can't wait to see you!

Converse High School's Annual Fall Festival is Friday, October 21st from 6:00 - 8:00. The festival will take place on the CHS Baseball Field and we invite all to come for an evening of family fun!

CHS 3rd graders got to spend a fun-filled day at the Tamale Fiesta Educational Day! They enjoyed face painting, the petting zoo, magic tricks, and learned lots of information about Louisiana wildlife, crops, how to save money, water/hunting safety, and much more. Thanks to everyone involved in putting it all together!
